Tamago Kake Gohan (With Everything Kelp Seasoing)
Ingredients:
1 cup short grain rice, cooked and hot
1 large egg (and an additional yolk for serving)
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp mirin
a pinch of hondashi
a pinch of mirin
1 tbsp Everything Kelp Seasoning (like barnacle foods) plus more to taste
Steps:
Add the hot rice, the whole egg, soy sauce, mirin, hondashi and msg to a bowl. Stir vigorously with chopsticks until thick and frothy.
To serve, make an indentation in the center and place the reserved yolk in it. Cover with Everything Kelp Seasoning and enjoy!
